Globe Trotters is a fully licensed boutique travel agency and café based on the Gold Coast. Since opening in 2007, we’ve been dedicated to delivering a five-star customer experience — whether you’re enjoying a meal and coffee in our café or planning your next adventure around the world.

In a world where so many people are talking to offshore staff and AI bots, we believe in genuine, local service — face-to-face or over the phone. We proudly own and operate the Globe Trotters Travel Café, and we’d love for you to join us for a cuppa before and after your trip. We also keep all of our after-hours service in-house, ensuring you always speak with someone who truly understands your booking and cares about your experience.

We believe the holiday experience begins the moment you walk through our doors. Our goal is to make the booking process as enjoyable and inspiring as the journeys we send you on.

The Globe Trotters Travel Café is the heart of our business — a place where the worlds of travel and hospitality come together. Designed as a welcoming, community-focused space, our café offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy barista-made coffee, fresh local food, and meaningful conversation.

Whether you’re discussing your next big trip with one of our travel experts, catching up with fellow travellers, or simply stopping by for breakfast or lunch, the café provides the perfect environment to slow down, connect, and dream about your next adventure.

We host regular travel talks, client gatherings, and post-tour catch-ups right here in the café, because we believe travel is about shared experiences — and some of the best travel stories are told over a good coffee.

 

OUR STORY

Globe Trotters began in 2007 after a small group of travellers returned from an unforgettable trip through Egypt and Jordan. Their shared passion for travel inspired the creation of a travel club — and from there, Globe Trotters was born.

Our first retail store opened in Tweed Heads, and although we had to close that space in May 2021 due to COVID, it opened the door to something even more exciting. In August 2021, we realised a lifelong dream by launching the Gold Coast’s first Travel Café — combining our love for great food, coffee, and travel under one roof.

We also work closely with suppliers and cruise companies to secure better deals and value for solo travellers — because everyone deserves to see the world their way.
