Globe Trotters is fully licenced boutique travel agency and Cafe based on the Gold Coast. We have been in business since 2007 and are centered on delivering a 5 star customer experience be it in our food and coffee service or to people who want to travel this amazing world. We believe the holiday experience starts when you walk through our doors and we want to accentuate the booking experience so you enjoy it as much as the adventures we send you on.

Our clients are group of sophisticated people from all over the country that like to travel to places during the right time of year, stay at the best available accommodation for the right price. Our Cafe serves the most delicious food and excellent beverages. We believe the love of food and the love of travel are symbiotic and we deliver on both.

After visiting Egypt and Jordan back in 2007 a group of people decided to do another trip a few years later and create a travel club. This was the beginning of Globe Trotters. Over the years we have grown to having our own website and specific departures on some trips. In 2007 we opened up our first retail store in Tweed but due to covid we had to close that in May 2021. With the closure of this store we were free to explore a life long dream and bring together both food and travel and in August 2021 we opened ours ad the Gold Coasts first Travel Café where we amalgamated both the Travel Agency and a Café.

 We still believe that by bringing people together who enjoy travelling we can keep that sense of the Travel Club that we grew from. With our new Café we can offer them good food and The community we have around our brands and store is growing every day and we are there to support you from the day you walk into our office, to while you are on the trip to welcoming you home when you arrive back. Post covid our expertise in navigating the intricacies of travel is vitally important.

We aim to take a bucket list and start ticking it off. It's almost certain that another member has done one of your dream trips and can give you tips and tricks to make the holiday even more special.

We bring together in one place a well run easy to use travel website that allows you to find information, look up different companies, compare prices and make finding the right holiday for you easy. We are not an online community but rather an agency that aims to provide a personlised service for our members. In saying this we do have certain things you can book on the website and this is to make it easy and a safe place to book your things that you would not normally use an agent for. While we are 100% privately Australian owned we are still a member agency of the  largest bricks and mortar Travel Company in the industry - Flight Centre Travel Group. This gives us the buying power so you know you are getting the best price for the products you book through us.

In 2017 we launched our Solo Traveller's Club. This is where we bring together Solo Traveller's to meet each other and potentially explore the world of Solo Travel. People love travelling with other people. Some want to share the cost of the trip and share a room and others want their own room but still would like to travel with other like minded people. We also are putting a lot of pressure on suppliers and cruise companies to offer us better deals for the Solo Traveller. If you are a Solo Traveller or know somebody who is get them to join up on the face book page and meet other people.

We have learnt over time that people who travel together time and time again enjoy their experience so much more. Friends for life are made and when you sit back and relive the trips you realise that these are the times that memories are made of. We have club members that have met at our various functions and end up taking trips away together.

 

As well as our yearly group tour we also have other options to choose from and some of these include

Every year we have ten to fifteen new people join us on our tours and this keeps the “fresh blood” in the tours.
